Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 30, 2026 (previous version: April 14, 2026)

Privacy Policy

SongTextAI (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit our website at https://www.songtextai.com (the “Site”). It also describes your privacy rights and choices, including how to manage cookies and advertising preferences.

This Privacy Policy is designed to be transparent about what this Site actually collects, and to comply with the privacy laws that apply to our visitors, including the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended (CCPA/CPRA). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Personal Information

We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us, such as when you contact us, create an account (if applicable), or sign up for newsletters or updates (if applicable). Depending on how you use the Site, personal information may include:

  • Contact information: name, email address, and similar contact details
  • Account-related information: username or other identifiers (if you create an account)
  • Communications: messages you send to us through contact forms or email
  • Any other information you choose to provide when interacting with the Site

We generally collect personal information only when it is provided by you directly.

1.2 Usage Data and Analytics

We collect information about how the Site is accessed and used. This may include:

  • Device and browser information: browser type, operating system, and device identifiers (where available)
  • Log data: IP address (which may be used for security and basic site operations), pages viewed, referring/exit pages, and timestamps
  • Interaction data: clicks, navigation paths, and other engagement metrics
  • Site performance and analytics data: information collected via analytics tools to understand traffic and usage trends

We use this information to maintain, secure, and improve the Site, as well as to understand how users interact with content.

1.3 Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, tags, scripts, and similar technologies (collectively, “cookies and tracking technologies”) to collect information and personalize experiences.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They can be used for:

  • Essential functionality: enabling core features of the Site
  • Analytics and measurement: understanding usage and performance
  • Advertising and content personalization: delivering advertisements and measuring their effectiveness

The measurement tools this Site currently runs are Microsoft Clarity and Cloudflare Web Analytics. Each is described in section 4.4 below.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and, for advertising-related cookies, through the choices described in the “Cookies and Tracking Technologies” section below.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Provide and operate the Site: enabling features, ensuring the Site functions properly, and supporting user experiences.
  • Analyze site usage: measuring traffic, understanding engagement, and improving content and performance.
  • Maintain security: preventing fraud, abuse, malware, and other harmful activities; monitoring and responding to security threats.
  • Deliver and manage advertising: showing relevant advertisements and measuring ad performance in accordance with applicable policies.
  • Personalize and optimize experiences: using analytics and advertising insights to improve the Site and (where applicable) personalize certain aspects.
  • Communicate with you: responding to inquiries and providing service-related updates when you contact us.
  • Comply with legal obligations: meeting applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.

We do not sell your personal information in the traditional sense, but we may share information with third-party vendors for advertising and analytics purposes as described in this policy.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to understand how you use the Site and to support advertising and measurement. Below are additional details about advertising cookies, including those used by Google and its partners.

3.1 General Cookie Types

  • Essential cookies: required for core site functionality (for example, security and session management).
  • Analytics cookies: help us understand how users interact with the Site.
  • Advertising/targeting cookies: used to deliver and measure advertisements and to improve ad relevance. The Site does not currently display third-party advertising, so no advertising cookies are being set at this time.

Some cookies on this Site are set by third parties rather than by us. Third parties may be placing and reading cookies on your browser, or using web beacons and similar technologies, in connection with analytics and measurement on this Site. Where the law requires consent for non-essential cookies, we ask for it before those tools run.

3.2 Advertising Cookies (not currently in use)

We do not currently display third-party advertisements on the Site, and no advertising cookies are being set. If we introduce advertising in the future, we may work with third-party advertising networks whose cookies serve and measure ads, including interest-based advertising. This section would apply from the date advertising is switched on, and this policy will be updated before that happens.

3.3 DoubleClick DART Cookies

Where advertising is enabled, Google may use cookies such as DART (referenced in its advertising policy documentation) to serve ads based on prior visits, and similar technologies may support remarketing and interest-based advertising. This section applies only if and when advertising is displayed on the Site; it does not apply today.

To understand these practices, see Google’s advertising technology information and related policies, including guidance on how cookies are used for ad selection and measurement.

3.4 How to Opt Out of Personalized Ads

You have choices regarding personalized advertising:

Please note that opting out may not remove ads from the Site—it may only reduce personalization and interest-based targeting.

3.5 Managing Cookies in Your Browser

You may also be able to control or delete cookies through your browser settings. However, some features of the Site may not work as intended if cookies are disabled.

  • Most browsers allow you to delete cookies and block new cookies.
  • You may need to adjust settings for each browser and device.

4. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party service providers to support our business operations, including analytics, advertising, and hosting. These third parties may collect information directly from users through cookies, pixels, or similar technologies in accordance with their own privacy policies.

4.1 Advertising Partners (not currently in use)

We do not currently display third-party advertisements. If that changes, third-party vendors — which may include Google’s advertising services or similar networks — may use cookies and other technologies to serve and measure ads based on prior visits to this and other websites.

Google’s advertising technology practices are explained further in the following resources:

Google’s policies may be updated over time. We encourage you to review the relevant policy pages to understand current practices.

4.2 Google Analytics

We may use Google Analytics (including related Google services) to measure traffic and understand how users engage with the Site. Google Analytics may use cookies to collect information such as pages viewed, time spent on pages, referral sources, and general browsing behavior.

Analytics information helps us improve the Site’s content, navigation, and performance. The data collected by Google Analytics is used subject to Google’s privacy practices and terms.

4.3 Other Third-Party Services

We may also use additional third-party vendors and service providers, such as:

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers
  • Security and fraud prevention services
  • Customer support tools (if applicable)
  • Content delivery and performance optimization providers

The specific vendors may change over time as we evaluate and update our systems. When third parties collect information through cookies or similar technologies, their use is governed by their respective privacy policies.

4.4 Analytics and Performance Tools Currently in Use

To keep the Site fast and to see which generators people actually use, we currently run two measurement tools. Both are named here so you can read their own policies:

  • Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) — Clarity collects usage signals such as page views, scroll depth, clicks, taps and mouse movement in order to produce heatmaps and anonymised session replays. It is used only to improve layout and find broken flows. Clarity masks text and form inputs by default and does not use the data to build advertising profiles. Clarity sets first-party cookies (for example _clck and _clsk) to tell new and returning visitors apart. Microsoft’s privacy statement: privacy.microsoft.com; product information: clarity.microsoft.com.
  • Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.) — Cloudflare provides our content delivery, caching, bot filtering and security layer, and processes IP addresses and request metadata for that purpose. We have also enabled Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures aggregate traffic and performance without using cookies to track individuals across other sites. Cloudflare’s privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Both services act as our service providers and may place or read cookies on your browser. Where consent is legally required, non-essential measurement tools only run after you accept them, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the cookie settings control available on the Site.

5. Advertising and Your Choices (applies only if advertising is enabled)

The Site is currently free of third-party advertising. This section is kept in place so you know in advance how advertising would work and how you could control it; it takes effect only from the date advertising is switched on.

5.1 How Ads Would Be Served

If advertising is enabled in future, ads could be served by automated systems that consider the content of the page and other signals, including information collected through cookies and similar technologies. This can include interest-based advertising, remarketing, and other methods used to deliver more relevant ads.

5.2 User Opt-Out for Personalized Advertising

You can opt out of personalized advertising by using the following options:

If you opt out of personalized advertising, you may still see ads, but they may be less relevant to you.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational steps designed to protect personal information. These measures may include access controls, secure data handling practices, and monitoring for security issues.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, while we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and General Rights)

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have certain rights related to your personal information. We aim to make it easy to exercise your rights.

If GDPR applies to you, you may have additional rights, such as the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

If CCPA/CPRA applies, you may have rights including:

  • Right to know

To the extent applicable, you can exercise these rights by contacting us using the information in the “Contact Information” section below.

8. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

SongTextAI is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us at [email protected], and we will take appropriate steps to address the concern.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or operational updates. When we update the policy, we will revise the “Effective Date” at the top of this page.

Your continued use of the Site after the updated policy becomes effective means you accept the updated policy.
