Welcome to SongTextAI (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at https://www.songtextai.com (the “Site”), including any related content, features, and functionality.

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site.

1. Acceptance of Terms

When you visit or use the Site, you confirm that you:

2. Description of Service

SongTextAI is an AI-assisted songwriting tool. The Site provides online generators that write new, original lyric drafts from the choices you make — genre, mood, theme, tempo and language.

SongTextAI is not a lyrics database. We do not host, display, reproduce, publish or distribute the lyrics of existing songs, and we do not offer a searchable library of third-party song lyrics or artist catalogues. Nothing on the Site is a copy of, or a replacement for, commercially released lyrics.

Depending on the page you open, the Site may provide features such as:

Generating original lyric drafts — hooks, verses, choruses and bridges — with AI assistance;
Customising that output by genre, sub-genre, mood, theme, tempo and language;
Editing, copying and exporting the drafts you generate;
Reading our own editorial articles about songwriting craft;
Security, performance and analytics technologies that operate and maintain the Site.

Output is produced automatically and can be unpredictable. You are responsible for reviewing and editing anything you generate before you publish, record or release it. Our full position on AI-generated content and copyright is set out in the Disclaimer.

We do not guarantee that any particular generator, feature or output will be available at all times. Features may change, be updated or be removed as we develop the Site.

3. User Accounts and Responsibilities

3.1 Accounts

Some features of the Site may be accessible without an account. If the Site allows account creation for certain functions, you must provide accurate and complete information and keep it updated.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials, if applicable. You agree not to share your account access or allow others to use it.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

5.2 AI-generated output and third-party rights

The lyrics produced by our generators are written by an AI model at your request. They are not copied from, and are not intended to reproduce, any existing song, artist catalogue or published lyric.

We do not claim ownership of third-party works, and we do not reproduce third-party lyrics anywhere on the Site. You agree not to use the Site to recreate, imitate, or pass off as authentic the work or style of any named artist, songwriter or rights holder, and not to remove attribution where attribution is required.

Because AI output is generated probabilistically, it can occasionally resemble existing material by chance. Reviewing your output before any commercial use is your responsibility.

If you believe anything on the Site infringes your rights, contact us using the details in section 12 with enough information to identify the material, and we will review and, where appropriate, remove it.

5.3 License to use the Site

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the Site for personal, non-commercial use.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or create derivative works from Site content except as permitted by applicable law or with our express written permission.

5.4 Trademarks

All trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos, and branding on the Site are the property of their respective owners. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use any trademark without our prior written permission.

6. Advertisements and Third-Party Content

6.1 Advertising on the Site

SongTextAI does not currently display third-party advertising. If we enable advertising in the future, it may be served by third-party advertising networks. Any such change will be reflected in our Privacy Policy before it takes effect.

To deliver and manage advertisements, third-party advertisers and ad providers may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to collect information about your device and browsing activity. These technologies help customize ads and understand ad performance.

We do not control the specific data collection or targeting methods used by third parties. Any data use by third-party providers is governed by their own privacy policies.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources. We provide these links for convenience only. A link to a third-party site does not mean that we endorse or guarantee that third party’s content, services, policies, or accuracy.

You access third-party websites at your own risk. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party websites.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT, FEATURES, AND SERVICES PROVIDED THROUGH IT ARE OFFERED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY.

We do not warrant that:

The Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free;
The Site’s content will be complete, accurate, up to date, or reliable;
Any defects or errors will be corrected;
The Site, its servers, or any content is free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL SONGTEXTAI, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US FOR ACCESS TO THE SITE IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM (OR, IF NO AMOUNTS WERE PAID, ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100)).

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SongTextAI and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:

Your violation of these Terms;
Your violation of any law, regulation, or rights of any third party;
Your infringement of any intellectual property or other rights;
Any content or information you submit to the Site (if applicable).

We may participate in the defense of any claim with counsel of our choosing. You will not settle any claim on behalf of us without our prior written consent.

If a specific governing law or venue requirement applies due to local laws where you reside, the most protective interpretation consistent with applicable law will apply.
